Junior Workshops
“Every child is an artist. The only problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up” – Pablo Picasso
The studio becomes a hatching ground for ‘being an artist’ whether its researching, colour studying, understanding technique, playing with ideas or applying paint onto wood, canvas or paper. All Artists will leave with a body of work and a deeper understanding of themselves as artists. They will all have had the adventure of discovering that the process of creating art is fun, stimulating and ultimately satisfying.
1,000 per lesson or 5,000 for 6 lessons

From June 21st – to the end of August 2011
“Are your children complaining they have nothing to DO over the holiday period?”
Do you have trouble tearing them away from the Cartoon Channel? If you have answered yes to these questions then here’s the perfect solution – fun & engaging workshops all summer long at Attic Studios!
(Through to the end of August 2011)
Each week, from Tuesday – Friday mornings, from 10 – 1pm.
In a world dominated by computers and play stations, the value of creativity is often sacrificed. The open-ended nature of art class draws children into a creative frame of mind that translates to other studies and hobbies. The benefits of art class go far beyond just building confidence and creativity in a child. Classes for kids that focus on drawing and painting also cultivate their curiosity. In doing so, children can develop a number of advantages over other students including marked improvements in the child’s focus; self esteem and fine motor skills.
There’s something fun and exciting every day…
Testimonials about Attic from various students ageing from 6 to 60
“The whole atmosphere at Attic is inspiring & what’s more, the art teaching is superb.”
“The love of art at Attic permeates everything they teach – art history, colour theory, proportion & different painting & drawings techniques & they make it all fun.”
“Attic’s teachers have taught me stuff that I would never have learned before. I would not be a good artist without Elsie and her school. Thank you so much for giving me hope.”
“Elsie and her team managed to overcome my son’s initial fear & at the same time excite him about his own innate creativity & now he’s so keen to go and excited to paint.”
