FF’s Exhibition – Now Online!

For anyone who missed the exhibition last err, First Friday,January 2011… or for those who did buy a piece  of artwork & would just like to see it again or just show your friends … here is the exhibition, online!

If  you’re interested in buying one of these paintings, please get in touch and/or drop into the studio any old time to view the exhibition for yourselves, which will be up for the whole month of January.

The start of the New Year marks a new beginning & we are very proud to present the work of Thai students from Srinakharinwirot University’s Faculty of Fine Art.

Attic Studios will be closed from Thursday 23rd December to Tuesday 4th January.

We will re-open on Wednesday 5th January for the ‘Figurative Workshop’ from 10 – 1pm

What a bum-mer!!

This Thursday’s ‘Life Drawing’ morning class, with Simon Bradwell taking the reins was a lot of  fun & produced a rather large number of drawings of  ‘bums’!

Firemen and Fortune Tellers!

The last couple of weeks, our Bangkok Life classes have been super exciting! From the hot, steamy fireman – to the cool, mystical fortune teller. Students used vibrant colours and heroic brush strokes to create some wonderfully creative pieces.

Yeah, First Friday is THIS Friday!!

This month FF introduces the curious photographs of American painter and sculptor, Josh Davis.
Josh Davis is an art teacher in Bangkok who has been using photography to document the ever juxtaposing nature of his new home. Colourful, dark, quiet, noisy, Bangkok continues to inspire exploration. Limited edition, wet process Lambda prints will be shown at Attic Studios for 2 weeks.
Josh’s past exhibitions in the USA and UK have been of paintings and/or sculptures.

Upstairs there will be a little something going on as well, for all those creative souls. Get the chance to watch a painting demonstration and wield your own brush to create a spontaneous masterpiece!
