Mid-Term Break Workshop

Mid-Term break is approaching…which is a shocker considering I feel like the effects of the Christmas holidays are still wearing off.

Anyway, if you’re looking for something to occupy the kids…which I’m sure you are…Attic will be running a mid-term oil painting workshop over 2 weeks to cater to the different mid-term dates.

Dates: Monday – Friday

15th – 19th February (BPS)

OR

22nd – 26th February (NIST)

Time: 10am – 12:00 noon

Price: 5,000 Baht per student (5 days)

Ages: 9 years and up

The hoards have scattered…

The last couple of months has seen hoards of school kids and teeny boppers take over the studio during their summer holidays. It’s been fun but as schools begin to open for the new term, the hoards are diminishing…it’s more like a scattering now.

Elsie’s off to the U.K. this Sunday after having spent the last week moving to a new and hobbit-like house. She’ll be gone for a month! I know – I don’t know how I’m going to survive either. But classes will go on as usual. So, if you haven’t been in for a while, get your butts in here and paint.

Express yourself…

Since Elsie’s return, the studio has returned to it’s usual self… and I finally got a day off! ;oP

I really only had one thing I had to mention in this post…I’m sure most of you are aware that Attic doesn’t only hold classes for a mature demographic but also for hoards of children – most of whom flood the studio every Saturday. A few of whom pop over after school.

Today, I was teaching one such (8 year old) rascal and made an off-hand comment about the faces he sometimes pulls, while he’s painting. After a beat, he replied quite calmly that he was an Expressionist.
