Yep, It’s that time again and we have a new exciting night planned for you.

Without giving away too much we would like to introduce you to a new concept………..Tunisian Collaborative Painting.

Heard of it? Then come on down and join in the fun. Never heard of it? Then come find out.

There will be music, laughs, brilliant art work by our young artists, and the usual right here at the new studio Sukhumvit Soi31 45/4.

It is the beginning of a new era for Attic Studios! We are moving to a fantastic new premises just around the corner from the one you all know, with THREE whole floors of artistic brilliance!

And we are inviting you to join us for our first First Friday in our new home.

Look forward to a feast for the senses!
For your longing eyes, an exhibition by up and coming Thai artists from Srinakarinwirot University showing a diversity of works including colourful landscapes, graphic illustrations and expressive figures.

For your hungry ears, we will have an acoustic performance by Ruaridh (pronounced: Rory) Fisken, a 20 year old musician who has performed in Australia and Dubai and opened for celebrated musician Pete Akhurst. He will be accompanied by the vocal talents of Ann.

For your restless hands, we will have a nude male model on our 3rd floor, inviting anyone to try drawing the human form with expert guidance from Richard Weaver, Attic’s own figure-drawing guru who will be running drawing classes for complete beginners every Sunday and Thursday night.

For your thirsty lips……..well you get the idea.

So don’t waste a moment trying to figure out what you’ll be doing on the First Friday of August….because we’ve got it all planned. You just have to show up.

A long term resident of Thailand, Kristiaan hasn’t become jaded like the rest of us….he has become positively psychedelic!!

You will have heard various things about the future of Attic Studios in the last few weeks.

I just wanted to let you know that Attic is not closing but it will move!

I am negotiating with a couple of land lords at the moment and will let you know as soon as something is finalised.

We have enjoyed your friendship and support over the last 5 years and look forward to many more years.

With additional thanks to our new friend and neighbour, the Home Run Bar & Grill, which is located ‘just’ round the corner from Attic on Soi 31. Their lovely owner dropped by in the afternoon to say hi & then later kindly dropped in some really yummy food for our guests…  NICE TOUCH!

This Friday, 4th March from 7.30pm – midnight @ Attic!

Come join the eclectic Attic crowd and see this month’s exhibition “Glimpses in Transit”… acrylic paintings by Michaela Murasak & Duncan Inglis, with still life painting for every ONE upstairs!

The next day, after posting a notice on our Face book page & several phone calls later, we successfully located its owner…and they’ve now been happily reunited.

Proving once more that Attic is much more than just a studio…it’s a supportive hub for the whole artistic community.

Brotherhood, sisterhood… we remain united!
