And on the agenda of things for sale, here’s some additional info…
A catering meat slicer, some casserole dishes, lots of glassware, old Thai baskets, beds, a Korean chest, Buddhas (in all shapes & sizes), cutlery, ornaments, a drawing table, a light box, some speakers, Christmas decorations, books, lamps, a fridge, an oven, a food processor, a liquidiser (in case you have a gremlin you might want to blend!?), vases & a heap of beautiful Asian artifacts…..
AND this is ONLY SOME OF IT!

Get Out of Town and Paint!

Don’t know about all of you but I am getting stir crazy in this big City.

I have discovered a haven on the outskirts where we can paint anytime we want  ………that includes you too!

I have organised a trip next Tuesday and have managed (obviously the old charm is still there) to persuade Khun Wichien Wongsupalak and Asnee Tasna to come along with us. Anything could happen!

“My name is Christophe Ourdouillie. I am 33 and I am an artist specialised in Tromp L’oeil effects. I was looking for a studio in Bangkok to paint a canvas and didn’t know where to go. I found Attic Stuidos on the internet. I was lucky because I have to say it’s a great place… and it’s a lot about the great vibes in the studio: from Elsie and the welcoming staff, but also in the energy of all the artists & students passing by.

FLOATIN’ FABULOUS COURSES!

That’s fabulous floating ‘INDIAN CUISINE COOKING COURSES’ on the River, this SUNDAY, May 29th.

Debarking at 8.30am, with a morning of cooking instruction hosted by Mrs Balbir and her wonderful staff on this 100 year old Barge, followed by a stop off @ Phathum Thani Market, an exploration of the island of Ko Kret and then with time to ‘relax’ and enjoy the river, you’ll arrive back on dry land by 4.30pm… this is going to make for a beautiful day!

We are therefore delighted to highlight Mrs. Balbir’s famous Floating Classroom Cooking Course as Mrs. Balbir, like us, believe that ‘word of mouth’ is a virtue.

Joy Voeth is an exuberant world-class vocalist with a soulful and sophisticated sound who joined Elsie’s ‘Beginner’s Oil Painting‘ class this morning for the first time.

Another creative step for artist womankind

Joy embodies her name –  in a mélange of rhythms, sounds, ideas, and energies, exuberantly expressed through one being who delights in creating spontaneous beauty AND we’d say the same about her first painting @ Attic!

Last Tuesday evening Elsie, Marcel Claxton & Louise Truslow were proud to present their group exhibition at Tapas Cafe on Soi 11, to launch their recently created “Asian Daily Paintings.”

Over 90 paintings were hung and it was a great evening of loveliness.
