Life Drawing who?
Life drawing has always been a popular class at Attic Studios. So it’s a cause for celebration that we’re adding yet another day!
Thursdays (beginning 26th August) will hold our regular Life Drawing class where students will learn and perfect the basics of figure drawing using charcoal. Tuesdays will continue to be ‘Bangkok Life’ day, when we drag someone in off the street and have them sit for us, whether they be a motorbike taxi driver, the broom seller guy, the sewing lady or the fruit man – we’ll take them all!
And…wait for it…on Wednesdays (beginning 25th August) we will hold weekly Figurative Workshops taught by Lisa Bergan. Check our Class Schedule for class times and dates of special courses.
On another note, I thought I’d run an idea by you that Elsie came up with recently, concerning Life Drawing. Tell me what you think: Elsie suggested we get some nice big mirrors in the studio and have everyone draw themselves in the nude while the model sits fully clothed….What the model will be doing, I don’t know.
I’ll tell you one thing for sure – there will be a Kat shaped hole in the side of the studio if this idea goes through! Well, I suppose that depends on who’s drawing and who’s modeling. ;o)
