Life Drawing IS BACK!

After a brief hiatus for the summer, Life Drawing is back in action! (Thank goodness for that. I’m out of practice myself.)

Kicking off our life drawing week on Wednesday was our brand new Figurative Workshop with Lisa Bergan. Students didn’t just draw a conventional figure using conventional methods, they expressed themselves with a variety of line and media and produced some amazing pieces. I was well impressed!

At some point during the day, one of our students mentioned that they had, and I quote:

“Never drawn one of THOSE before”……

One of what?…..I don’t quite understa……OH….I see….

Well, If you’re a bit concerned with drawing one of THOSE, or THESE, or any of THEM for that matter. Don’t be. Eventually, you forget what it is that you’re drawing and just try to capture it as best you can. Like a bowl of fruit, or bouquet of flowers. Eventually it won’t phase you in the slightest….trust me.
