Bangkok’s a Blast & Attic Studios will be a Riot!

You are cordially invited to come celebrate the return of Bangkok with our #7 First Friday – and PARTY!

This time around we’ve lined up some exciting stuff for you…

Elsie will be previewing an exhibition of newly inspired and hugely popular little oil paintings she’s being busily creating, which capture recent political events so beautifully. They form a fantastic foundation stone for her new project, Elsie’s Daily Paintings.

Also on display will be photographs of the recent war-zone in downtown Beirut, oops I mean Bangkok. Gavin has been a journalist for over 20 years and he’s familiar with serial blasts, religious riots and political strife around the world so he found Bangkok a blast… and his photographs are stunning!

Our guest teacher, Nicholas Robinson, a graduate of Crawford College of Art will be upstairs giving a demonstration of “Sight-Size” charcoal cast drawing. Yes, we’re not entirely sure what this means either BUT it’s a technique used by some really famous artists including Titian, Joshua Reynolds and John Singer Sargent so come and watch the demonstration & see what it feels like to be one of the great masters!

In addition to all this, Elsie will be introducing ‘F.ART’ bags…and rumor on the Soi is that they are everything you’ll ever need to unleash your creative spirit!

Oh course, everyone is welcome.
